Located in southeast Gilmer County, Ga. well within a 90
minute drive from Atlanta’s I-285/I-75, the property consists of +/-1.67 miles of both sides of two Ga DNR designated year round trout streams, an additional +/-972 Lf of one side of the stream and a total of 294 acres of mostly older growth timber. The property features the confluence of Anderson and Tickanetley Creeks, famous for trophy browns and rainbows. |
Still in the Parker family, the property was assembled beginning in 1931 by school teacher, conservationist and farmer, JB Parker and his wife Opal who timbered the property very sparingly and left the steeper parts of the land virtually untouched. Their descendants have been true to this legacy, keeping the property in a natural, pristine state.
